Focus and Scope

JEPM is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal covering a broad range of topics in Chemical, Environmental and Food Science and Technology, while integrating operational, technical, and process management as integral part to these disciplines.

Submission Checklist

Before submitting, ensure that the following is present:

One author has been designated as the corresponding author with contact details:

  • E-mail address;
  • Full postal address;
  • Orcid

Manuscript files are prepared according to guidelines and:

  • A Full manuscript file (Word), with author identifiers.
  • A Blinded manuscript file (Word) with no author identifiers (for double-blind review).
  • Manuscript files include the following identical items:
    • Abstract is followed by keywords;
    • All figures include relevant captions;
    • All tables include titles, descriptions, and footnotes, if needed;
    • All figures and tables are cross-referenced within the manuscript and match the files provided.

Further considerations before submitting:

  • The manuscript has been 'spell checked' and 'grammar checked';
  • All references mentioned in the Reference List are cited in the text, and vice versa;
  • Journal policies detailed in guidelines have been reviewed;
  • Referee suggestions and contact details provided, based on journal requirements;
  • Figures will be uploaded as separate high-quality files compliant with quality requirements.

Copyright Notice

All articles are published under Creative Commons CC BY-NC-ND 4.0. Authors retain copyright and grant the Publisher a non-exclusive licence to publish and distribute the article and identify itself as the original publisher. Permissions are required for reuse of third-party copyrighted content; authors must provide documentation and include permission statements in legends or footnotes.

Peer Review

This journal operates a double-anonymous, peer-review policy.

Licences

The following licences are allowed:

  • CC BY-NC-ND 4.0
    Attribution — You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use. NonCommercial — You may not use the material for commercial purposes. NoDerivatives — If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you may not distribute the modified material. No additional restrictions — You may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.

Publication Cycle

JEPM is published on a semiannual schedule, with two issues released per year.
