JEPM is built upon the principles of Open Access and is determined to provide free and unrestricted access to scientists. Published papers will be immediately, freely, and fully available to all readers without any barriers.

JEPM operations costs are subsidized by the Faculty of Technology Zvornik, University of East Sarajevo pays for the publishing costs incurred by the journal. Authors do not have to pay an Article Processing Charge. In addition to subsidies from the Faculty of Technology Zvornik, University of East Sarajevo, JEPM is supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Republic of Srpska.

Journal endorses the Panton Principles, which states that "for science to effectively function, and for society to reap the full benefits from scientific endeavors, it is crucial that science data be made open."

All content published in JEPM is immediately made freely available online under an open-access model under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0). The copyright is retained by the author(s).

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.

Self-archiving policy
JEPM journal allows authors to deposit the Publisher's version/PDF (not the OnLine-First version) in an institutional repository and non-commercial repositories or to publish it on the Author's personal website (including social networking sites, such as ResearchGate, Academia.edu, etc.) and/or departmental website, at any time after publication.
