Open Access

JEPM is a diamond open access journal. Every article is published free of charge to its authors and free of charge to its readers, immediately on publication and without embargo.

Why Diamond Open Access?

Diamond open access (DOA) is an equitable, inclusive, scholar-led and community-owned publishing model. Peer-reviewed research is published with no fees for authors or their institutions, and readers access the articles for free. The publication costs are met by an institution or a funder, rather than by the people who write the work or by the people who want to read it. Authors retain full copyright of their work. In this way, DOA treats scholarly knowledge as a public good, free of financial barriers on both sides.

Who Funds JEPM?

Authors do not pay an article processing charge. JEPM's operating and publishing costs are subsidised by the Faculty of Technology Zvornik, University of East Sarajevo, with additional support from the Ministry of Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education.

The journal is built on the principle that scientific knowledge is a social good and should be available to everyone without barriers. Removing the charge on both sides, to publish and to read, levels the playing field for researchers with limited financial means and gives everyone an equal chance to publish and to read work of high quality, anywhere in the world.

Licence

All content published in JEPM is made freely available online, immediately on publication, under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International Licence (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). Copyright is retained by the author(s).

Access to read is unrestricted. Reuse of the published work is governed by the terms of that licence.

Self-Archiving Policy

JEPM allows authors to deposit the publisher's version or PDF in an institutional repository, in non-commercial repositories, on the author's personal website, including academic networking sites such as ResearchGate and Academia.edu, and on a departmental website. This is permitted at any time after publication, with no embargo period.

Archiving and Preservation

This journal uses the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries, and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for the purposes of preservation and restoration.
